Wedding Vendor Highlight – Josh Hill Films

Today we are featuring Josh Hill Films, one of our preferred vendors here at Koury Farms and we are delighted to chat with the owner, Josh and showcase his business on the blog.

Josh is a wedding videographer and photographer with a heart for real, meaningful moments. He is also a dad, which has completely shaped the way he sees the world. Josh cares deeply about capturing the emotion behind the day — not just how it looked, but how it felt. He serves couples who value connection, legacy, and being present with their people.

Please can you tell us about the services / packages you provide?

I offer wedding videography and photography — customized to your wedding — with coverage options that feel like you. Most of my clients book full-day storytelling coverage, including a highlight film, ceremony and toast edits, and all edited photos in an online gallery. I also offer smaller collections, engagement sessions, and associate coverage options for couples looking for flexible investment points.

How would you describe your style as a filmmaker?

Honest, emotional, and intentional.

My films aren’t overly posed or styled — they feel like the couple. I focus on capturing real interactions, small details, and the energy of the day in a way that feels timeless and true to who they are. My goal is for couples to watch their film years from now and instantly feel everything all over again.

What is your turn-around time?

For wedding films, you can expect delivery within 8–10 weeks. Photo galleries are typically delivered within 6 weeks. I know couples are excited to relive their day, so I always aim to get previews out within the first few days!

How many hours do clients typically hire you for?

Most of my couples hire me for 8–10 hours, which allows me to capture the full story — from getting ready all the way through the dance floor. I also offer varying coverage options for elopements, weekday ceremonies, and cultural multi-day events.

How far in advance to couples need to book?

The earlier the better — especially for fall dates and Saturdays, which tend to book 9–12 months in advance. That said, if your date’s coming up soon, definitely reach out! I always do my best to accommodate.

Do couples get to choose the music for their film?

I always invite couples to share the kind of vibe or feeling they want their film to have. From there, I carefully license music that fits their story. My goal is to match the mood — whether that’s romantic and slow or upbeat and playful — while also making sure it feels cohesive and timeless.

Do you use drones?

Yes! I include drone footage when venue and weather conditions allow. It’s a great way to showcase the setting and add a cinematic feel to the story without taking away from the intimate, emotional moments.

Any other tips or advice for couples looking to book a videographer for their wedding?

Make sure you vibe with your videographer — not just their work, but them as a person. You’re going to be spending your entire day with them, and feeling comfortable makes all the difference. Also, don’t feel like you have to know every shot you want. A good filmmaker will help guide you while making space for the real, unscripted moments that make your story unique.
