A Blue Themed Wedding in North Georgia

Sarah & Carmen Diaz tied the knot here at Koury Farms on September 18th, 2022, and if you are looking for blue themed wedding inspiration, this is the post for you!

The phrase “something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue” was taken to a whole new level in this wedding! From the Brides shoes, to the florals, to intentional details throughout the day, this couple incorporated shades of blue in such an elegant and classy way. 

In weddings, blue symbolizes love, purity, faithfulness and modesty, and we absolutely loved all the blue tones that were seen at this beautiful wedding. Even the wedding guests were dressed in various complimentary shades of blue! 

A Blue-Toned Inspired Wedding

Beginning the day getting ready in our one-site bridal suite, the bridesmaids all matched in smart navy blue PJ’s and then swapped them out for a soft powder blue long gowns in varying styles.

The men wore navy suits with the groom and father of the bride pairing them with floral ties.

Blue Inspired Florals

The blue wedding theme was also incorporated into the floral arrangements. The centerpoint of the ceremony featured stunning blue drapes with striking florals adorned either side. Pampas grass added luxurious texture with baby blue blooms and pops of burnt orange and peach. 

Contrasting dark and pale blue flowers were added in the bridal bouquets along with crisp white roses and greenery.

Blue Themed Wedding Reception

As the ceremony ended and the guests made their way to the main reception space they were greeted with tables adorned with tall candle votives, powder blue ornate dinner plates, blue tinted glasses, navy blue napkins, gold flatware, and eucalyptus greenery. The head table featured a stunning greenery backdrop with neon lights illuminating “Happy Every After.”

The 3 tired semi-naked cake by The Baking Grounds was exquisite, decorated with a small floral arrangement it provided another wow factor.

One other noteworthy detail from this wedding was a vintage phone for guests to leave a message for the couple! What a fun and unique guestbook idea!

All the guests had an absolute ball and before we knew it, it was drawing to a close and after a sparkler exit the couple drove away into the sunset in a convertible vintage car!
