Jasmine and Ricky celebrated their wedding on a beautiful Saturday in February here at Koury Farms. The couple love rich, warm tones, so they incorporated those colors throughout the day. The end result was a beautiful green and orange wedding with pops of red that looked absolutely beautiful in our ceremony and reception spaces! Captured exquisitely by Amber Brannen Photography. Check out all the details below.
The bride arrived first and got ready with her family in our elegant and spacious bridal suite. For her dress, Jasmine chose a form-fitting gown with modern lace details. She added lace sleeves and a lace back for the ceremony so we loved that custom touch!
Jasmine carried an asymmetrical bouquet full of white flowers with hints of orange and green designed by Sheng Ly Events. Green and orange ribbons were also tied to the bouquet to add extra pops of color. The overall look was timeless, romantic, and perfect for their green and orange wedding.
The couple chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so seeing the look on Ricky’s face as Jasmine walked down the aisle was priceless. Ricky looked handsome in his bold green suit with red tie–we loved his take on the classic groom’s look and thought it paired perfectly with Jasmine’s attire.
For their ceremony decor, the couple opted to keep it simple and elegant allowing the focus to remain on the couple as they exchanged emotional vows. Our Wooden Cross (available from our Prop Closet) was used as the ceremony centerpiece. This was decorated with pops of orange and white flowers intertwined with greenery.
The couple strayed from tradition and chose not to have a wedding party, so this saved time by not having to take wedding party photos. It also allowed them to allocate more of their budget elsewhere, which they chose to spend on floral and decor. By not having a wedding party, they were able to add unique, high end touches such as the statement floral centerpieces for the reception and the coffee bar and charcuterie table during cocktail hour.
The couple planned the reception with their green and orange wedding theme in mind. For the tables, they used our farmhouse and round tables with a mix of decor for visual interest. On the round tables, they chose stunning tall floral centerpieces created by Sheng Ly Events, with white flowers and greenery to add height and depth to the space. For the farmhouse tables, they incorporated white runners with greenery, flowers in bud vases, and candles, creating a warm, boho feel.
The couple opted for a sweetheart table with complimentary decor so that they could enjoy spending time together during the reception. Their wedding cake was also quite the statement piece featuring a three-tier white cake surrounded by an acrylic display that held single stem flowers.
The couple had their grand entrance to the reception then enjoyed their first dance to “At Last” by Etta James. Jasmine removed the lace covering on her dress so she was able to have two different looks using the same dress.
Guests feasted on culinary delights by Cheeseboards & Thangs and City BBQ. After open mic speeches, DJ Troy kept the dance floor alive and guests were entertained with the fun photobooth by Photobooth by Studio 99 .
The couple opted for a more personalized ending to the festivities since they did not want a grand exit, but rather a chance to say a proper goodbye to their guests before leaving.
Jasmine and Ricky’s green and orange wedding was full of thoughtful details and intentional moments that made for a truly special day, surrounded by their loved ones.
