We are still gushing over the beautiful details of this succulent inspired wedding held here at Koury Farms in the winter season. It was the perfect blend of elegance and nature, offering a fresh and modern twist on traditional wedding themes.
Every detail was exquisite and the couple radiated joy throughout their special day. You won’t want to miss this one, captured by Haley Henderson Photography
The couple met online and quickly formed a connection after opening up to each other about what they wanted in a relationship. The proposal took place at sunset on Dauphin Island, one of the couple’s favorite spots, where they celebrated with family and friends for the rest of the weekend on the beach.
Brian & Renee found Koury Farms online and loved the beautiful setting and surrounding countryside. They had to plan their wedding from afar and said they appreciated our wisdom and connections, which sealed the deal for them when choosing a wedding venue.
With their love for succulents and the Groom’s home state being Arizona, it felt natural for them to choose these beautiful plants as a central theme to their wedding.
Succulents are the stars of any floral arrangement and the bridal bouquet was quite the masterpiece, designed by Design House Weddings and Events. These resilient plants, known for their unique shapes, vibrant hues, and low-maintenance nature, bring an air of sophistication and simplicity to any celebration. For the bridal bouquet, various succulent types were mixed in with other blooms for a textured and visually striking arrangement. The Boutonnieres also featured a single succulent paired with greenery or small flowers, providing a rustic yet refined touch.
Be sure to check out the Brides other beautiful accessories that included a hair piece featuring delicate, colorful succulents as well as gorgeous lilac wedding shoes with floral details and comfortable sneakers for the reception with floral patterns perfectly matching the bouquet.`
After a hilarious first look prank by the groom’s friend, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows at our covered pavilion against a wooden cross, dressed with tulle drapes and a delightful floral arrangement with succulents, intertwined with white & purple florals.
Bridesmaids stunned in full-length dresses in varying shades of blue and green, with groomsmen in gray suits and blue ties tying in perfectly with the beautiful tones of the succulent theme.
A lively reception followed in the main venue where farmhouse tables were adorned with ample greenery and foliage, gold geometric tea light holders and small vases of wildflowers.
The table numbers added a unique and personal touch featuring special places and photos of the couple during the course of their relationship, for example the location of their first date, and where they got engaged.
Guests feasted on culinary delights by Sweet Magnolias Catering and danced the night away with DJ Troy keeping the party alive until late into the evening.
After a romantic last dance, the couple were sent off into married life with a spectacular sparkler exit.
This stylish and unique succulent-inspired wedding was one for the books and we wish them a lifetime of happiness!
