This elegant white barn wedding was one of the highlights of the Spring season here at Koury Farms! We were honored to host this romantic wedding for highschool sweethearts, Dylan and Lauren this past June. They said “I do” to the venue after falling in love with our beautiful bridal suite and rustic farmhouse style. See all the magical moments from their day below, captured by Reanna from Infinite Film + Photo.
Dylan and Lauren first met in middle school after being introduced through a mutual best friend. From that point on, each year that passed Dylan faithfully wished Lauren a happy birthday. During their senior year in high school they re-connected and soon began dating.
Family is clearly at the center of their hearts and this is not only evident throughout their wedding day but also the proposal. Dylan proposed to Lauren during a surprise photoshoot at the beach, and invited their families to witness the proposal and join in the celebrations.
The day began in our elegant and spacious bridal suite – which came alive with the hustle and bustle of the bridal party and family members getting wedding ready.
The bridal party mostly consisted of family members and close friends on both sides. These are the people who have loved and supported the couple through everything so they wanted to have them play a significant role in the wedding since they mean so much to the couple.
The bride had chosen six bridesmaids to stand by her side who each wore powder blue dresses, as well as younger bridesmaids, flower girls and a pageboy, with the color palette of creams, ivory, greenery and blue woven throughout the outfits and florals.
The satin bridal gown from i do..i do Bridal looked stunning on Lauren and played perfectly to the theme of farmhouse style elegance.
The wedding ceremony took place in our covered pavilion with rustic lanterns and white rose petals lining the aisle. The ceremony centerpiece featured our wooden hexagon with a cross in the center decorated with florals from Pannell Designs & Events matching the bouquets including white roses, eucalyptus and blue delphinium.
You can see from these images that emotions ran high as the bridal party made their entrances before the stunning bride came into view.
The couple chose to incorporate a bread and salt wedding tradition into the ceremony. This symbolizes the hope that the couple never has to want for much and that they will never go hungry and always have enough. The bride and groom taste a piece of the bread to signify “may you never go hungry” then take a sip of wine to signify “enjoy the sweetness of life” then place salt on their tongue to represent “may you overcome the bitterness in life.”
The reception took place in our indoor white barn reception space complete with string lights and white drapes hung from the ceiling. Farmhouse tables were decorated with powder blue napkins in a waterfall fold complemented by gold flatware, delicate florals and flickering candles set in rustic lanterns intertwined with eucalyptus and ivory blooms.
The couple’s married name “The Franklins” was illuminated in neon lights and a gorgeous

Guests were encouraged to leave notes for the bride and groom on a large wooden plate with “The Franklins” embossed on it as a unique idea for a guest book. Tumblers with the wedding details were a delightful keepsake for the guests to take home and remember the day!
Lots of dancing and merrymaking ensued and the couple were sent off with a sparkler exit to start their married life! We wish them all the happiness in the world!
