Kaitlyn & Tait are the sweetest couple who really know how to have fun! Their dreamy Auburn wedding held here at Koury Farms was simply beautiful. Surrounded by their family and friends, with unique personal touches, this is the story of their perfect wedding day.
The bride, Kaitlyn, began her Auburn wedding day by getting ready at Chateau Elan before traveling to our beautiful Georgian farm wedding venue. The bride looked glowing as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids and her mom – who then helped her into her dress. The girls, dressed in matching PJ’s enjoyed a mimosa bar supplied for them throughout the morning before changing into their sage green dresses, all with unique detailing.
Tait started his day with a round of golf feeling completely relaxed and at ease! The groomsmen looked dashing in their matching blue suits and white boutonnieres. We loved how the brides father included a touching image of himself and his daughter as a child embroidered on his tie. The bridal bouquets and boutonnieres were provided by Millbrook Farm Flowers who also created a beautiful arrangement on the circular wedding arch at their ceremony.
Their first look took place in our stunning vineyards which are one of the most popular and photographed areas of our North Georgia Wedding Venue. There were loving gazes and lots of laughs exchanged which their photographer, Rachel, captured beautifully.
The guests at this North Georgie wedding venue were invited to take their seats on either side of the aisle, with the 1st seat in each of the 1st pews reserved for memorial bouquets. The bride and groom also included other ways that honored loved ones that had passed such as wine bottles with photos on them, which was very touching.
The couple chose the piano version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by The Chillest, as their wedding processional song. The ceremony was emotional and uplifting, filled with both tender and humorous moments. Family formals shortly followed after the ceremony, with the vineyard providing a wonderful backdrop.
The reception was held in our gorgeous main venue here at Koury Farms, with twinkling fairy lights and rustic surroundings playing host to the rest of their day. The Bride & Groom made their grand entrance and kicked the reception off with their first dance to “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur. The guests and bridal party knew how to have a good time and kept the dance floor alive for the rest of the evening!
The bride & groom also had their own separate dances – the bride with her father, dancing to Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, and the groom with his mother, dancing to; “Humble and Kind” by Tim McGraw.
The theme of green, gold, and white was carried throughout the whole day including the flowers, table decorations, and even some of the food! Check out the mouth-watering charcuterie and cake pops! We loved the little unique personal touches, such as how they paid tribute to their beloved dog, Bailey with a dog figurine on the cake and even a signature drink named after him.
This dreamy wedding was bought to an end with an intimate last dance whilst the guests were preparing outside for a pom-pom exit. The guests lined up on either side of the exit, ushering them into their car to whisk them away whilst waving their red and white pom-poms! We wish Kaitlyn & Tait a lifetime of happiness!
