Can you tell us about the floral packages you offer?

Of course! We currently offer 3 types of packages for Koury Farms Couples! The packages range from $2,000 – $6,000. Each package caters to the more simple couple, to someone who really wants to throw it out of the park with their floral design. We don’t have a minimum to book with us, however our average couple spends around $4,200 for our full service weddings. Our full services options include delivery, complete set-up and breakdown along with all rentals, vases, and candles at no additional cost.

We also just started offering faux floral rentals as well! We have two packages for this special. One is prices at $1,100 and the larger package is priced at $2,200. The smaller packages include wedding party flowers and garland for reception and ceremony space and the larger package includes everything in the first package, plus arrangements for each table. We are happy to discuss everything in more detail if anyone would like to reach out to us.

What decor items do you provide?

We offer a lot of things from our inventory! We have votive candles, pillar and taper candles. We also have unique vases, LOTS of bud vases, wooden bowls, arches, tall arrangement vases, garland, and ceremony aisle pieces. We are unique in the way that we don’t charge extra for rentals on items we have in stock! If we have it, you can use it! We also don’t upcharge for flowers. What we pay at the wholesaler, you pay. This helps couples get the most flowers possible.

If a couple hands you a picture of a look they are going for, can you re-create it?

We love when our couples give us inspirational photos! We can always work off of the colors, and overall shape! We want every wedding to be unique to each couple, so we love to create something that is special and really shows their personality off well. I like to think of floral design as an art, and the flowers as my medium. Many couples have given us inspiration photos, and once everything comes together, our couples always say how everything turned out better than the pictures because of how much it reflects them personally!

Do you offer bouquet preservation?

We do! We offer preservation, along with recreation! So if a couple’s wedding has already passed, we can work off of a picture from their wedding, purchase the same flowers, and start the preservation process. It’s a lovely way to gift someone an anniversary gift.

How far in advance do couples need to book their florist?

I would recommend booking your floral designer as soon as you book your venue! For some, that is a year in advance, and others that is only 6 months out. The sooner the better though, because this gives your designer the most time to really curate and design exactly what you envision, and allows time to go back and forth on ideas and brainstorming.

Do you have any tips for couples to maximize their floral design budget?

I definitely recommend giving your floral designer a total amount you are willing to spend on flowers, rather than an itemized concept and a color scheme. This allows your designer to use their creative juices and look at your venue to place flowers any and everywhere, that the couple may not have originally thought of. This also allows the designer to create different sized pieces, whether that be bud vases on the bar or even a large arrangement at the sweetheart table. You’d be surprised at how creative your designer can get with hanging items, arches, and welcome sign flowers. We love a good challenge, especially when we can create something that is different than the norm.

One of the hacks we like to take advantage of is having ground arrangements going down the ceremony aisle and then reusing those for the reception area. Couples can reuse these for reception tables, the bar, or even in front of the dance floor. You get double use out of something you only pay for once – and your guests will never know. It’s quick and easy for the floral design team to take everything down and move it during cocktail hour!

Any other tips or advice for couples looking to book a florist for their wedding?

I definitely recommend reviewing any agreement/contracts they may have before you get too deep into the process before hiring any vendor. Giving your design team creative freedom and trust is something you won’t regret either! You will be amazed and blown away when you do this. Also, tell your designer about you! Where you like to shop, what kind of style you are into. Are you more of a vintage person, or more modern? What’s your dream vacation? A simple trip to the beach, or a month in France? We love to learn and create forever friendships with our couples!
