Kate & Marshall’s Rustic Auburn Summer Wedding

Kate and Marshall are the sweetest couple – they are both always so optimistic and Kate has the most infectious smile. When showing them around our Auburn wedding venue, we discovered that they met while attending Georgia Tech which holds a special place in our hearts as that is how Scott and I met. We lovingly referred to them as our “techies” so it is only fitting that they are featured on our blog this week!

This gorgeous Georgia wedding was coordinated by Ashlie Muller Celebrations who made the day run so seamlessly – from the ceremony in the outdoor pavilion overlooking the vineyard, to the evening reception in our main venue. We LOVED the neutral colors of the bridesmaid’s dresses and how the whole day was full of earthy tones and warm lighting. Dianna, the live painter who joined the couple on their day, created stunning artwork of the ceremony at our Auburn wedding venue.

The couple snuck off for some portrait time out in the vineyard which is, unsurprisingly, one of the most photographed spots on the farm! One of the best things about running a wedding venue in Georgia is getting to see how the vineyard changes throughout the year and the variety of photos that get captured here!

The reception certainly made for some awesome shots from the couple’s photographer – Mackenzie Ortiz, who captured the beauty of the string lights, our hand-crafted bar, and the rustic feel of the space (as well as our couple and their guests of course!). Kate & Marshall sure knew how to party and danced for the first time as husband and wife to Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You by Frankie Vali. The gorgeous food from Sweet Magnolia Catering kept everyone well energized and happy throughout the whole evening, ending the night with a magical sparkler exit for our Georgia couple.
