Today we are featuring our favorite wedding videography team in Georgia. Legacy Multimedia is one of our preferred wedding vendors here at Koury Farms and we are delighted to chat with the owners, Chris and Sara, and showcase their business on our blog today.

Legacy Multimedia is a wedding videography team based in Georgia. They create romantic wedding films that are based on the story of your big day.

Please can you tell us about the services you provide?

We offer three comprehensive videography packages that are tailored to our couples’ most popular wants and needs. This ranges from a 3-5 minute highlight video to a 15-20 minute comprehensive wedding film. We offer the flexibility to add raw footage USB delivery, and extra hours of coverage based on our couples’ preferences. 

In addition, we always include the edited full ceremony video regardless of the package that is chosen. Our package investments currently range from $2,200-$3,000 depending on the type of videos and footage the couple would like to receive. 

How would you describe your style as a filmmaker?

As filmmakers, our style is cinematic and story-driven. We do everything possible to pull the real story out of a wedding day and provide insight to our couples on how to ensure that we will have a video that is unique to them. We like to conduct interviews or encourage our couples to read their vows privately to be included in their video. This allows for a more personal and sentimental storyline narrated by the couple.

What is your turnaround time?

Couples should expect delivery of their initial 3-5 minute wedding video within 6 weeks of their wedding date. Delivery of any other items will take up to 8 weeks.

How many hours do clients typically hire you for?

All of our packages include up to 8 hours of coverage. We have found that this is the “sweet spot” for a wedding day schedule! If you find that you are in need of more coverage, we also offer couples the opportunity to add on more hours.

How far in advance do couples need to book?

Couples should plan to book their wedding videographer as soon as they have their date and venue finalized. However, if we are available, we can be booked at any point before a wedding day!

Do couples get to choose the music for their film?

All of our music is licensed through Musicbed.com. We are glad to collaborate with our couples to choose the music that best compliments their wedding film, provided it is available for licensing through Musicbed.

Do you use drones?

Yes! We are FAA licensed commercial drone pilots. Drone footage is included in all of our package offerings as long as it is permitted by the venue, as well as the FAA.

Any other tips or advice for couples looking to book a videographer for their wedding?

As far as the technical side goes, we recommend looking for a videographer who provides microphones for professional audio recordings, as well as a professional lighting setup. We also recommend that couples get to know their videographers’ personality as well as their portfolio to be sure they are a good fit.
